  • Qualifying math coursework or BEAM

Compensation
Paid full-time apprenticeship; City Light states apprentices start at least $46.36 per hour with step increases and City benefits.
Duration
Four years / 8,000 hours, plus at least 144 hours of related academic instruction each year.
Credential
Certificate of Completion and journey-level employee status after completing training and passing required City and union exams.
